BACKGROUND
Jennie Posey is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist, with a special interest in diabetes and endocrine conditions.
She graduated with honors and magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies & Human Development from the University of Arizona in 2005. She obtained her RN licensure in 2018, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2020. Prior to returning to graduate school to pursue nursing, Jennie worked as a certified clinical research coordinator in Seattle, WA.
Knowing that her patients are the ones who have to put in the day-to-day effort to manage their health, Jennie strives to build collaborative relationships with them and to incorporate their preferences as much as possible when making evidence-based treatment decisions.
Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, baking, knitting and exercising. She also loves to spend time with her husband and their pets, a Vizsla and an orange tabby cat.
